SubjectSuggestion: dir2dat with header support new Reply to this message

CMP does support xml files that have information on headers that are to be skipped when scanning files.
It would be nice to have an option on the dir2dat screen that enables header support for dats created this way. Ideally one would choose a xml and CMP would ignore the header while creating a dat from the files. :)

dir2dat already uses the currently loaded/activated headers when it scans files and calculates checksums accordingly.

It's on my todo list for ages to add additional visible support for headers etc...and to auto-add the statements for the headersupport in the datfile header....

.... but currently real life (tm) eats up my time.

Ah, I see. :-)

Already tested it and it does indeed work as you said. Thanks. :D
