well...a set doesn't necessarily consists of roms only. A set is any combination of roms, samples and chds.
In your case you most likely miss the belonging chds and since these sets are sets with only chds, clrmamepro correctly reports the sets as missing (since you scan for 'sets' + 'missing'.
So either get the chds or create the belonging rompath subfolders for the chds and you won't see the missing set message anymore.

Thank you Roman. Any idea how to do what you described above?

Is this what you mean: \Mame32b\roms\cndypuzl\cndypuzl.zip ?

chds are stored in the official storing way:
rompath\setname\chdname

So by creating the belonging rompath subfolder you will fool cmpro's set + missing check and the set will appear as not-missing (the chd will though if you don't have it).

Hi Roman,

I tried C:\Mame32b\roms\cndypuzl\cndypuzl.chd
C:\Mame32b\roms\cndypuzl\cndypuzl.zip

I also turned off 'Missing' It still comes up errors. I'm not really that concerned now you have explained why (missing CHD images). I can live with it.

Thanks for your help.

Read carefully. You don't have to create a file but a folder. So don't create dummy files (chd or zip), but create the correctly named rompath subfolder for the chds.

Hi,

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Could you write it out?

Do you mean like this? C:\Mame32b\roms\cndypuzl

as I said...a belonging rompath subfolder for the chd. Belonging in terms of 'belonging setname'. So for the set cndypuzl, add a rompath subfolder 'cndypuzl' for the chd (which you don't have).

I already told you several times:

create a rompath subfolder for each missing chd accordingly to the official storing method (rompath\setname\chdname). Meaning the rompath subfolder for chd X which belongs to set Y has to be named Y. Very often X = Y (but not always), so for example for: cndypuzl, create a rompath subfolder called 'cndypuzl'. If your rompath is C:\mame\roms, create C:\mame\roms\cndypuzl\

Hi,

Thank you. Tried that but doesn't really work.

Cheers for your help though.

so what's you current scan results tree output then? Why not post a screen shot of scan results tree + options

- of course you should have 'Scanner->advanced->allow chds in rompath root' DISABLED.
- of course I assume you get the data directly from an official MAME build.
