Hi Roman

Why clrmamepro can't update a profile created with an executable ?

It does update it automatically as soon as you replace the underlying exe file. Now I really wonder what you did? ;)

yep !
Good idea.
Before, I renamed mame folder each time I update it.
And created a profile for each release of mame.
It useless.
I keep a folder named mame and doing like you, only need to rename profile.

Normally people replace the exe file, so it's automatically detected as being changed.
In case you want a differently named exe, you can also change it. Click on the exe-created profile then you see the name in the edit box at the lower part of the profiler...you can change it there if you like. Then press directly on 'LOAD/UPDATE' (otherwise the changed name won't be used).

I replaced only exe too, but I created another profile...

I don't even see I can uptade the profile via the mini text box !
