Hello, I'm trying to make a dat for Mame031b and Retrocade
I havent a clue on how to do this for Retrocade and
-listinfo doesnt work for this early ver. of mame.
Any help is Appreciated

- There is no need to use such old versions of MAME
- Retrocade datfile should be availble in Logiqx's older emulators datfile collection
- if that old version doesn't use -listxml or -listinfo but a different command to extract database (what I doubt), you can try to modify engine.cfg to use the old command.

Solution: create a datfile manually by using -listgames, -listroms (which I think was supported back in these days)

Thankyou for the reply Roman.

as far as the old ver. of Mame I do have the complete set for 031b I just wanted to try to make a Dat for it.
I will try those other options you suggest.

The Retrocade Dat that was posted on Logiqx's site I don't think it is correct. I wanted to make sure my set was complete and when I rebuilt the new set it trashed my spyhunter roms. It ran with the wrong colors.

It can't trash anything. Most likely it's a) an emulation problem or b) a different revision of the game.
