SubjectNo Green Light for 118? new Reply to this message

Am I the only one? I had audited MAME32 .118 and even though I am missing nothing, I am getting a "red light" next to the Profile name in ClrMame (3.103). I thought it was MAME32 doing it, so I waited until .118u1 came out, did another audit, still missing no sets, and I still get a red light next to the profile.

Happening a lot here.
If I scan again the red light becomes green.

Never had that problem. You most likely miss files (and hide them) or you selected only some sets out of all (then it's normal)

could it be because you are missing samples and haven't asked cmp to scan those?

Nope. That doesn't have an effect on the green/red status.

Happening here tpo. All sets totally up to date and as far as I know, I'm not missing anything. Here are my scan results. Notice that it says I'm missing 2 BIOS roms but it only tells me what they are if I show no-dumps. So shouldn't my scan be 100% complete with a green light?

Wrong SetName Case: 0
Wrong Named Sets: 0

Missing Roms: 963 (963 are 'nodumps') of 95056

I have exactly the same issue as the last poster- latest clrmame update was unsuccessful in returning a green light despite a fresh scan

Not to my knowledge. I've always had a green light up until this latest release of ClrMame. Wasn't sure if it was ClrMame or MAME32 being the culprit. Even with the newest release of both (3.103a for ClrMame, 118u2 for MAME32) I am still getting a red light even though it's showing me I am missing nothing.

No I have it scan samples and CHD files as well. Still comes back as missing nothing.

I've tried that also. The full scan seems to take a fraction of the time the 2nd time around (like 16 seconds) but I still get a red light.

That's more or less what I get too (updating numbers for the MAME32 118u2 release)
