Hi all. CMPro keeps splitting the roms that go with the .chd files. I have the chd folders on drive E, and Mame on drive D, where I have all of my roms in a folder. For some reason, when I run CMPro, it pulls certain roms out of each zipfile corresponding to the chd and creates another zipfile of the same name with a single file or two in the Mame directory of the E drive. When it is all done, I have 2 zipfiles for each chd-associated rom (same name) - one on drive D in D:\Mame\Roms and one on drive E in E:\Mame (where the chds are in subfolders). Has anyone seen this behavior and/or know how to correct it? I would keep both on the same drive, but the chds are so big, that I had to place them on a separate external drive. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Can you give a more detailed example (with set and filenames) please? Or some screenshots. Name the files in question, show me the zips etc...

An example is cndypuzl. That folder on E:\Mame\cndypuzl contains the cndypuzl.chd file. After running CMPro, a file is created/moved in E:\Mame called cndypuzl.zip which contains 391640-03.u6a. Does this have something to do with the SysDefault paths?

The mentioned file is the BIOS file for the CD32 system (which candypuzzle is one set of). This shouldn't be put in cndypuzl.zip at all. Sounds like you got Scanner->Advanced->"allow not separated bios roms" enabled. In this case each set wants all biosfiles included (not separated in biossets) and so, fix missing creates it for you.

Turn the mentioned option off and do a new full scan. ( the file should be listed as unneeded then btw..)
