While clrmamepro is rather feature complete (at least for the common user) for quite a long time now and the monthly bugfixes are mostly related to very rate things, it's time to retire...

nah...just joking. My free time is very limited due to real life but after I saw that Gimp thinks about GUI changes (OH NO!...I just get used to it), I may think about some layout changes as well...or better YOU DO.

So you may have seen this: http://gimp-brainstorm.blogspot.com/

and I'm open to get something similar for cmpro. The basic functionalities of cmpro should stay but feel free to send (or post here) screenshots of what should get changed layout wise.

But: As mentioned I nearly have no time to add it...but I'd like to see something on my todo list 8)

Dear Roman,
are you open to ANY suggestions or only GUI-related ones?

Cause from my side I'd LOVE to have a new section of cmpro dedicated to dats management, with funcions like "add dat A to dat B", "remove dat A from dat B"(and viceversa), "compare dat A with dat B"(based on names or CRCs or SHA1s) etc.etc.

I'm dreaming, I know it.
;)

I'm open to everything. Funnily I got some responses saying: Stick with the layout, add this and that 8)

I got some datfile organzier points on my to do list but since there are already some nice tools out there to merge dats, they aren't listed with a high prio on my to do list. Usually it's not such a trivial task to add/sub dats from other dats...

Of course any request/idea is welcome.

Frightening sentence !

Well, If you think it's time to change cosmetic things, do it.
Clrmamepro suit very well to all confirmed users and while clrmamepro is the best rom manager, we'll all follow you, whatever you change, I'm sure.
It could help newbies beginning with clrmamepro... (say clrmamepro is a litle cold for handling for new users might not be far from truth...).
And ppmight be good for advanced users too...

We will help or suggest you ideas if you need...
