I use cmpro many times with mame.
When i check a new version of mame, with splits sets.
I drop in the main window a few directories, for example agemame.

The rebuild process catch al bios roms and add it on the rom folder.

For Example, get a neo geo bios and drop in the window, the all bios files added to the rom (2020bb).

No bug.

You either:

a) use a mame binary which doesn't use the correct xml isBios flag or resource flag to tag biosset (...since you mentioned agemame....)

b) you turned off the option rebuilder->advanced->separate biosroms which would cause the same effect
