Hi Roman

One idea :
Update a datfile via the right click in the profiler.

A new entry in the right click menu of profiler like 'update the datfile via wwwmode' would look in the whole website adresse memorised in wwwmode.
If there's a datfile update, clrmamepro ask to confirm update.
If no datfile update existe...
Clrmamepro would do it alone (only the right click...)

Good or bad ?

Lazy 8)

I could think of a full automatic way where cmpro does some checking in background and highlights the dats when it found an update...Then you can do the 'update via www'. But this would create rather huge bandwidth usage (ok...you can check it daily or something...but anyway...) and you have to handle failed connections (not prompting for errors....and bad urls can hang sometimes for quiete a long time).

I make a note...but don't count on it 8)

Ok...

This highlight system is a good idea.
To prevent bandwith problem, the option could be turn off or on, as we want (like updater)...
