3.108b

misc: removing parent/clone relationships for sets which got nodump roms in one and valid dumps (for the same roms) in a clone/parent set. Prevents from overwriting each other when merging.
fixed: showing wrong (clone) color for removed parent/clone relationship sets in setinformation tree
fixed: memory leak when leaving with "The program is already running!" message
fixed: rare crash in system->auto detect sysdef paths

I'm having some Linux/Wine issues with the last couple of versions. It doesn't display the status window while scanning and rebuilding, and when I switch Desktop views (I run 4 desktops) and come back, the result window disappears effectively locking up Clrmame. I have to end task in order to close it which corrupts the Clrmame data.

I have Adv_HideWindow = off set already. The main window is fine.

Any suggestions?

Use Windows ;)
I may have a look at it in 2008. Iirc it was a wine issue if you switched the focus to a different program while rebuilding/scanning. If you didn't do that the window appeared fine. For the scanner the stats window was redisplayed correctly if you resized the scanresults tree window a bit.
Anyway...it's a wine issue....I may recheck it next year.

Heh... I may switch back to Windows, but I've been having a lot of fun with Ubuntu. Probably the most fun I've had fooling around on a PC in 15 years...

I've had to start using Vista at work.. it takes some getting used to, but it's not as bad as it could be. Having used Linux for a few months now, I can see a lot of Linux influences in Vista..

I'm interested in WINE issues. However some are hard to fix since they are purely based on weird WINE behaviours. I will have a look at it in 2008.

Ok...I tried Ubunto 7.10 with latest wine and had no big issues with the stats window. It will be created fine if you don't change the focus, otherwise it appears behind the scanner window and can be accessed easily.

Btw i used the adv hide thing which fixed the other probs.

I tried again with the latest version, and when I switch desktops/workspaces and come back, I lose the scan results. Maybe it does have something to do with switching desktops.
