SubjectCLRMame doesn't like the top-left corner... Reply to this message

I don't know which version of CLRMame was first affected by this, since I haven't fiddled with Mame since CLRMame 3.021, but now it appears that the Scanner does not like to be placed where I've always used in, in very top-left-most corner.

If I put the scanner anywhere else on the screen, close it down, and re-open it, then it'll have the scanner right where I left it. But if I position it at the exact top-left (pixel 0,0), close it down, and re-open it, the window will start up centered. :(

hmm....there is a check which checks if the window position is outside of the screen..and if so, it will be replaced centered. Could be that that 0/0 is handled as outside 8)...I will have a look at it soon.

Howdy. Just updated to the latest clrmame, and the scanner window still doesn't like the 0/0 position. Noticed the documentation says "Main Window". Perhaps you fixed the wrong window?

Just a side note, but are you aware that "fixing" wrong sized roms will crash clrmame if said rom is not within a compressed file? Re-discovered this while I was updating earlier in the week. I prefer to run fixes on extracted sets and then manually zip them up afterwards (perfectionist in me likes the files added to the zip in alphabetical order, heh) and a couple files needed to be resized, and each time, clrmame crashed. Don't know if it's exclusive to XP or not. Figured you might want to know.
