HI Roman

When ztnet was down (this days), i launched the wwwmode, then clrmamepro freezed, then crashed, on loading, when checkind a datfile url (it was mrdo artwork dat for info, i think...).

Is the automatic updater broken ?
"Check now" works fine. my clrmamepro is set on "every days" but it seems that any newer version can't be find, even if there is one...

Questions :
Still ui brainstrorming ?
(Perhaps) i missed the new feature wich look for and delete roms with same crc IN DIR2DAT (recently discussed) or it's on the todo list ?

The updater works fine. 'check now'/'daily/weekly/etc' is the same sourcecode. A freeze is normal when ztnet is down, a crash shouldn't happen though.

You don't need to install a previous version. Simply change version.ini and decrease the version number in there. Well, yes...you have to wait a day (or you modify Adv_LastUpdate in cmpro.ini as well).

I've tested it...works fine here

So...a) you talk about the www profiler, not the Update window, right? and b) 'crash' means it simply quits, no error prompt appears?

Already tryed before the report.
Re- tryed just now
No effect
Strange... I will be fixed tomorow

It freezed on the small window called "looking for update"
I used the small cross to quit (but i don't remember if it was the cross of the update window or of the wwwprofiler)
Yes, crash meant quit without explanations !

Do this:
- change cmpro's daily udpate behaviour to "daily" and quit cmpro
- change version.ini entry from 3.1101 to e.g 2.1101
- edit cmpro.ini and change Adv_LastUpdate = 1201716083 (you most likely have a differnt value here) to e.g. 1201516083
- run cmpro

works like a charm

Well...you can only click the x button of the progress window, not the profiler window...and that brings you back to the profiler.

Works fine here. And for you, it's not a crash, you simply quit cmpro. Guess I have till the next ztnet downtime to test that again.
