In normal scan with a dat your proggie

file.

3.08 only includes the changes for the new chd format. Nothing else has changed. Sounds like you're doing something wrong or you got a badly corrupted profile. Clean the cache or make a clean install.

*edit* ..ok..found the reason why it doesn't show the unneeded sets. That's fixed in 3.08a. No idea about the creation of files in /clrmame. Sounds like a bad backupfolder...well..maybe it was a sideeffect of the bug. Check the backuppath and use 3.08a ;)

Roman,
Thats strange because i have had exactly the same problem - cmpro will not recognise unknown sets. It ignores them unless you name the sets correctly and then it WILL rename incorrect roms inside the sets.

I have tried a fresh install but no change so have gone back to 307d for now which worked fine?????

any ideas please?
