Hey Roman Thanks!

O.K. I just wanted to check the snaps so I d/l'd the snap dat for mame32 (don't see one for regular mame, I am using a front end. Now do I set clrmame when using this dat, do I set the snap up as a rom path, add path, etc.? I don't know how to tell clrmame where to look for the files.

I tried using the "rom path" and adding the folder but then I get the files shown as unneeded. If I use only the add path I get them all as missing.

Sorry to be a bother but I really would like to learn to do this. ;-)

Thanks!

The snap set is a Mame32 addition, so that's why the file is for Mame32.

If you have the snaps zipped up in your \snap directory (snap.zip), set your Rom-Path to the \snap directory. If you have them as seperate .png files (i.e. unzipped), set the Rom-Path to your Mame directory.

be aware of the 2 supported scanmodes:

[rompath]\[setname]\[rom 1 ... rom n] for unzipped sets
[rompath]\[setname].zip for zipped sets

So look at the dat and check the used setname and setup a rompath correctly.
