Some people had a out-of-memory error recently when they opened the rebuilder.

The reason for this is an enabled "Auto" Switch in Rebuilder-Advanced. This option takes the biggest romsize of the currently loaded datfile and uses this as a memory buffer for no-recompress rebuilds. This value is also limited by half of your physical RAM.

with latest MAME we have some rather big Naomi rom files with > 1GB in the database, so the auto value might be a little bit tough for some users' systems.

Solution:

quit cmpro, edit the belonging *.cmp file and set "Rebuilder_AutoMemory = off" and cmpro.ini -> Rebuilder_CompressedCache = 8388608 and restart cmpro.
