hi, I usually run clrmame on mac through CrossOver. I recently updated for 3.115b to 3.118 and I see a small bug: if I open the compressor setting in the settings panel, it opens up 2 windows (which I think is expected), one in front and the other in the back. The problem is that the smaller window in the back cannot be closed in any way, forcing me to quit the whole clrmame and restart.

for me it's not a problem since I had no reason to change the compressor settings and I was only curious to see what was there, but maybe it could be a problem for someone else.

did you already follow my Crossover advice on the download page? Edit cmpro.ini, set: Adv_HideWindow = off

If not, do so and try again.

Guess tough luck then....it's a crossover issue :O) I remember something similar under Linux where WINE got issues with modal windows. Try to not change focus while pressing the compressor button. Sounds weird but sometimes a too quick mousemovement seems to cause the issue (at least under WINE).
