I get this error when I try to load my profile:

"Set:
no description \ no setname

Wasn't imported!"

And won't let me go any further than that. I can't do anything at this point. I'm not sure why this is happening. It works fine on another PC with the same emulator and roms.

I created my profile using MAME, selected the executable file, and just tried to load the profile. Then the above happens. Any ideas?

At least one set definition misses a name or description tag or it's empty.
The used emulator executable most likely provides a corrupt -listxml (for MAME) output. You can test that on cmdline level.

There was nothing wrong with the xml output with mame. I double checked it and it was still giving me this error. I ended up downloading an older version (.195b I think) and trying that. It worked perfectly.

.195b what?
