I want to delete all Japanese version clones. I think keeping an English version is enough if they are only different in language.

clrmamepro can't do this.
I'm not sure an utility can do that...
You certainly have to do it manually.
Try " del *j.zip " in a batch file but good luck and call gods...

It can. But it depends how they are named. If they all got something like "(J)" or "Japan" in their name or description you can do the following:

- go to scanner->scan results->set-information
- go to select sets, enter %f=*japan* (or whatever is the typical text for them (%f is placeholder for the setname, %d for description), enable "logical not". Hit Apply.

Now all not-japanese sets are enabled. You can now for example rebuild your roms to a new place, only the not-japanese ones are picked up.

Just an example....I guess with a little fiddling around you can achieve what you want to do...

it is possible if the setname or description holds something useful.

Thanks though it seems not a decent way to do this. Surely it will include much disc work to unpack/pack/copy and delete all the original files. I suggest that in scan results panal's context menu, "view " could show all normal sets also, and "delete" could delete all selected!
