most likely it found a big file and it takes a while till it calculated the sha1/md5.

...by the way, where is the sense to use dir2dat on a folder with so many subfolders? Normally you run it on one folder. Do you actually know what dir2dat does? ;) It's for creating datfiles...not for scanning folders....
