SubjectWay to ignore name mismatch? Reply to this message

I have a set of roms backed up on 20 DVDs. I'm scanning this set one disc at a time using the latest DAT to determine which roms I have and which ones I'm missing. For this purpose I don't care about whether the name is incorrect. If I uncheck Check Name, the roms with incorrect names are marked as unneeded. This is not what I was expecting to happen. I need these roms to be marked as available and removed from the missing list. Otherwise, when I move to the next disc, clrmame looks for these roms again and proceeds to mark them as missing because they do not exist on the second disc even though it found them on the first one. I need to find a way to scan through all of these discs and end up with an accurate list of what I'm actually missing. I'm guessing what clrmame needs is an advanced option to ignore name and case mismatches but continue to check for them.
