Well...if the name is not correct and you don't check for names, the file *is* actually unneeded since it's not an official part of the set then.
Turn off check unneeded ;)
I currently don't see a plan to include some in-between state like 'ignore name in case of name is not correct and name check isn't enabled'.
Or you keep unneeded check enabled and after the scan you toggle it so the result tree will be updated.

However I will think about a check for
"if a detected wrong name was not renamed (due to e.g. being on DVD or not using the fix option), don't list it as unneeded)....in fact cmpro should already do this...as I said..I will check this. So this solution would mean you would keep the name check enabled.

So if you only care about the tree you can always toggle the check options after a scan. The tree will be updated directly to hide/show the belonging items.
