How do I get ClrMamePro to create split sets if I don't have the parent?

For example: I have all the roms for the clone "mspacmab" but not the uniqe roms for the parent "mspacman". If I let clrmame rebuild the sets I will get the clone zip (mspacmab.zip) but not the parent zip (mspacman.zip) with the common roms.

And another thing: I sometimes forget to plug in the mouse before starting windows in my cabinet. Is it possible to run clrmamepro without a mouse? Found out that using "space" instead of "enter" allows me to navigate between the scanner/rebuilder etc but had no luck switching between the windows in the scanner.
