Hello.

I have a very large collection of roms for several systems. I am trying to create datfiles which will put roms into separate sub-folders without having to create 20 datfiles for a system. These folders will need to be mirrored on other people who desire to use my setup if they want the favorites lists (which will include toplists from magazines and internet sites) and are necessary for command-line launching which will essentially allow a person to access games (rom and emu) from multiple systems from a single source.

For SNES, my roms are broken up as follows...

(1) Licensed
-- (1_1) US
-- (1_2) Super Scope
-- (1_3) Europe
-- (1_4) Japan
-- (1_5) Special Releases
(2) Translated

Etc, etc, etc....

What I'm discovering is that there is no good way to do this. Either I have one datfile which will mindlessly dump all of the roms into a single folder or I make 19 datfiles, one for each folder, and ensure that nobody will ever go to the trouble of using them.

Any ideas?
