I'm seeing some strange CRC32/SHA errors on random ROMS on my machine. It seems to be coming from a new Western Digital 120GB HD. I don't see these errors when using a WD 80GB HD. I have not overclocked my system or done anything else hardware wise.

What would you do to track this down? I was thinking about first replacing the 80pin IDE Cable to the HD (it is the only drive on that cable). If that doesn't work would you just get the drive replaced? I have a couple more weeks to return it where I bought it from and get a swap.

Just wondering if there are other things you would check.
