SubjectClearing of attributes new Reply to this message

Hi Roman,

I just thought of a feature that would be handy, but feel free to flame me if it's a stupid idea / logistically impossible / already in there / just not worth the time / etc.

Would it be possible to have an option to clear the Archive attribute (or all attribs, perhaps) for all files in all Rom-Paths when starting a scan? Is that a ridiculous idea?

Thanks,

SalmonKing.

Not at all...I usually do that manually to see what have changed afterwards. Hmm...guess I may add an option for that.

On the other hand it's not that easy. I may be able to add it as a button like "clear all +a flags now". Since an reset at scanstart would mean it'll also happens after each fastscan (which is basically the same routine) and so with repeated fastscans you'll end up with all file attributes reset again ;). Well...I could disable it for fastscans, too...hmmm.....well....I will think about it.

Haha...I can just see the cogs turning while you're writing that reply :D

Thanks for considering it.
