For some reason, the scanner function poops out about halfway thru the scan when using it with Mame32+ in version 3.02.1.
I get a 'Clrmame has caused an error in windows and must shut down'...can't figure out why, any suggestions?

Tested mame32plus...no problems here.
Do you mean it exists while scanning or while it receives the romdata from mame32plus?

If it exists while scanning, try to disable some check options and look if it still crashes. What's the exact message? Maybe a screenshop helps.
How do you store your roms? split or full merged?
I need more information...

ah...I haven't tested 70 of mame32plus. I just did. Looks like their -listinfo output is broken!!! When 'Settings->show datfile errors->show common' is enabled, you get dozens of error from the created datfile.

So...use something else than mame32plus ;) or report that the -listinfo output is buggy.

well...I rechecked both..mame32plus and cmpro.

mame32plus creates a buggy datfile...there are several sets which appear twice. ClrMamePro fixes that...but forgets to set one counter to the fixed number of sets....that's why it crashes...I try to fix that as soon as possible.

...but mame32plus DOES produce a bad datfile, too ;)
