erm...so what's the problem? Checking snaps (and all the other artfile datfiles) is easy. Download the zip, setup the rompath. Wait a second...that's the important part. If you keep your snaps unzipped, you have to specify a rompath which includes a folder named "snap" (since this is the setname) with the unzipped snaps in it. If you keep them zipped, you have to keep them in snap.zip (aha..the setname again) and the rompath has to point to a path where that zipfile is in. After setting up the path correctly, scan. Normally updating the sets is done more quickly with a complete rebuild with the recompress turned off. The snaps are the files from www.classicgaming.com/mame32qa.

erm...how can you get a crc32 error when that set doesn't have a crc32 set ;). Unzip the file from acpsx.zip, rename the extracted file to coh1002e.bin and zip that one to psarc95.zip. Replace your old psarc95.zip with it and rescan. It's a dummy file, a no dump rom, so crc32 checking isn't even performed. Of course I assume that you don't use a MAME dat and use the direct output from a MAME binary instead.
