is it just me or does clrmame have issues with this, the listuinfi runs forever, for 25 minutes now.

Did you parchance, happen to RUN this executable file? Because it's a self-extracting archive...:-)

Once I did that - I got a 79u1 dat file within 3 minutes. :-)

I have been using clrmame for several years and this is the first major problem. It gives me an error then if I run it again it runs forever, it ran for 45 minutes before I stopped it. Obviously there is either an issue with my compile or with clrmame. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you do a clean compile? I have had no issues with it, but I do know of someone who did. Once they did a clean compile, the problem went away.

yes you are correct, I did a clean compile and it does work fine now. I did it before I read your comment but Give credit where it is due :) you are correct. Thanks all

You're using a bad compiled binary. 8)
