I suspect I just don't know how to use ClrMamePro correctly, but I'm having a difficult time having it scan and report on CHD games.

I'm using the auto generated dat file from MAME.079, which I believe has around 17 CHD folders in the ROM set. I only have 5 CHD files, but when I run ClrMamePro, it reports on all my non-CHD ROMs, but I don't see anything at all about the CHD files I have (or don't have).

FYI, I have the CHD files in the ROMS directory as a sub-folder in that directory. They are not .zip files. Using Killer Instinct as an example, (MAME folder name: kinst), in the kinst folder, I have the following files:
kinst.part1.P01
kinst.part1.PAR
kinst.part1.rar
kinst.part2.rar
kinst.part3.rar
kinst.part4.rar
kinst.part5.rar

I guess it's possible that ClrMamePro didn't find anything wrong with the kinst folder and that's why it didn't report anything, but why didn't it report on the other CHD games/folders that I am missing?

Can someone please straighten me out on what I need to do analyze CHD games properly? Thanks,
