In the scanner window, when I enable check/fix unneeded, check/fix name gets enabled too if it's disabled. Is this a little quirk you haven't noticed or is it the way it's supposed to be?

...Gremlins in your rom managers.

(I don't care, since either I enable all fixes or I don't enable any of them)

No quirk. It's intentional. Name and unneeded check are connected. It's because the way these checks work. Any set/rom which isn't listed in the dat is unneeded. The name check then tries to match the possibly renamed files with existing ones. So if you only got fix unneeded enabled you might delete renamed files. That's why fix name will be automatically enabled, too.
