Has anyone considered, ar at least attempted to do a version of CLRMame pro for Linux (Or something in the similar) ?
I'm sure x-mame users would also like the benefit of a organized romset without having to resort to using a seperate windows machine just to organize their roms. I hope someone is at least considering this possibility.

:)

I won't port the current clrmamepro version to Linux. It runs rather ok under wine/vmware.
...Due to real life I don't have the time to start the rewrite at the moment...so...well...linux users have to suffer a bit ;)

Actually, I'm not sure it does. The latest version, at least, version 3.24, doesn't seem to cooperate under WINE.

Is there a place where we can get older versions? I won't use it for renaming MAME roms, there's enough tools for that for Linux, but very few, if any, that properly take .cm datfiles for other systems. :)
