snes roms come in various formats, because of all the different copiers there were

goodsnes recognises and scans roms in all those formats and you can trust it

the clrmame dat expects all roms to be in the same bin/raw format wich is a plain rom image of the games and it's the format to go with if you wanna clean your snes roms

for info on the different snes roms formats refer to ucon64 docs
you can also clean your roms with it
