I'm sorry in advace to have to ask what appears to be an obvious question. Running CMP v3.25, using MAME080 as the dat file. Running a full scan of ROMs. On several of them I get a "missing ROM" message. For example, on folder "galaga", I get this:

Galaga (Namco rev. B) [folder: galaga]
missing rom: gg1-7b.2c [size: 4096] [CRC32: 0xd016686b] [SHA1: 44c1a04fba3c7c826ff484185cb881b4b22e6657]
missing rom: prom-3.1c [size: 256] [CRC32: 0x4a04bb6b] [SHA1: cdd4bc1013f5c11984fdc4fd10e2d2e27120c1e5]
missing rom: prom-4.2n [size: 256] [CRC32: 0x59b6edab] [SHA1: 0281de86c236c88739297ff712e0a4f5c8bf8ab9]

I take it this is saying, that the ROMs listed above as missing are present in the "official" MAME ROM set (what ever/where ever that may be)? In my defense of asking such a obvious question, I generally get my ROMs from, shall we say, a "very reliable source". ;^)

I hope I'm just missing something obvious here. Thanks,

Joe
