Well...send the log and the fixdat to clrmame@clrmame.com.
Basically log and fixdats OF COURSE differ. Since a log contains information about all kind of errors, contains information about chds, samples, uneededfiles etc. while a fixdat only contains roms which were marked as missing and which were marked with a bad checksum.
