SubjectWould it be possible ... new Reply to this message

to include an option to change attributes of files inside a zip within Scanner, Rebuilder and Merger?

I noticed the only possibility to change attributes of files within the zip-archive is to extract the files and change RSHA with other tools.

That would be really cool!

well...of course it's possible (to implement) ;) What options do you want then?

Well, I am missing an option in Scanner, Rebuilder and Merger to have an influence how the files in the zip-archive should be flagged.

Maybe, e.g. under 'Rebuilder' and 'Advanced' options you could include checkmarkers for RHSA how files should be flagged in the zip?

Same for Scanner and Merger (though I don't use Merger) but I am sure you know better where to place the checkmarkers for file-flags in those 3 categories? I would put them into advanced options, as not everybody might need this?

Is that answer sufficient? Will you implement it? I am quite sure some of the ClrMame-users would find this very handy.

How about a "set fileflags inside zips to +a only" (or maybe to "-"..no flags at all). As a Scanner advanced option.

annoyed about the Read-Only flag found for some files inside the zip. An option to '-' or '+' every flag would be more convenient, but if it's too much work, maybe a '-' which influence all flags would also be sufficient.
