Very strange, I've checked default.cmp and the settings match those I saved as default, however if I Create a new datfile from a mame binary and use default.cmp for the default settings it always reverts back to the default of:-

C:\Program Files\ClrMamePro\backup\

The directory I have set up does exist and contains removed roms so the path check should work fine.

My backup Directory is a sub-folder in the MAME root folder:-

D:\mame\ClrMamePro Deleted\

Every test I have run when creating a new datfile based on a MAME binary comes up with the same results, even if I change the backup folder to another location.

Clicking on Set Default in the Settings window after the datfile creation does however set the correct backup folder details that are in default.cmp
