They're clean.
But I'll try to re-clean them.

This is the situation:

I have a PAL SEGA Mega Drive.
It was hot on the bottom left part of the console, but I haven't noticed if it's any hotter than it used to be in order to compare.

It froze randomly on Gaiares (J) & Zero Wing (E) & it froze on Gynoug (J) after I left paused for 20 minutes.

I remember Gaiares freezing randomly 10 years ago, but now it was different.
1st I played Zero Wing & froze at level 5, then Gaiares at the option screen & finally Gynoug after pausing.
Then I played Streets of Rage for about 2 hours (I nearly completed it) but it did not freeze.

One thing I’ve noticed is I noticed that if you nudged the system or moved the controller to much, just about any game will freeze.
I’ve also verified this problem at my girl friend’s Genesis.
I don't know if this is a general Genesis problem.
This never happened with my SNES.

What do you come up with this?
