That's one thing that kept me off Netscape, the crashing. I liked Netscape a lot during the 4.x days and kept using it until around IE 5.01. I tried to stay off IE because I didn't like the security issues, I hated the way you couldn't organize your bookmarks in any way other than alphabetical, the menus were organized differently, I didn't have e-mail notification (had to open Outlook), etc etc. But Netscape crashed once too many.. and when one Netscape window went down, they all did. And the Mail app would crash frequently, and pissed me off when I was writing long letters, it especially pissed me off when I would browse for a link required in my e-mail and the browser would crash, taking down the mail app too. BLAH!
Firefox made me switch because it was rock solid, fast, and very customizable... Plus I could import all of my settings and they'd work the same on Linux as they would in Windows. It's funny, I'd be in Linux and forget what OS I'm using, I had to look at the taskbar to remember. And I'd never had it crash on me like Netscape would. Awesome!
