Devil's Crush on PCE

This game rocks. It's fun as hell, the music kicks ass, and it has plenty of style. Some creepy stuff in there, like the womans face that gradually turns into a lizard and shit. It is difficult though. Thank goodness for save states. You rarely get extra balls. Still suffers from the typical pinball annoyances, like when the ball falls right in between the flippers and there's nothing you can do about it. Some games have let you bump the table to prevent that, but a.dc's bump button only seems to move it up and down and b.it's very difficult to react in time. I'm still on the first stage and havn't found out how to get to the next one... I have a shitload of points though.

Anyway , sweet game, and if you havn't played it, you sure as hell better.

But i prefer Black Knight 2000 to it.

Lord would I ever kill to get my hands on a Black Knight 2000 machine right about now.

That's the game that made me want to buy a PCE. Yes, of all things, a pinball game actually made me want to buy a video game system. (I hadn't seen Bonk or Keith Courage yet)

They should really make a sequel, it was pretty cool. All those skeleton guys walking around and you have to kill them too...

I tried Mario Pinball Land though. Weird and interesting, if anyone is interested in pinball games or Mario games they should try it.

I remember playing that game on a Genesis... bought it for a cousin trying to find a cool game, and it turned out to be one of the best stuff we ever had :)

Yes, there was a Genesis version. I looked through my romset and could only find it in my Japan folder as Devil's Crash. I know it came out here in the US.
Anyway, the Turbo version had better color, but lower resolution and the sound wasn't as good. I also think the Genesis one had better ball physics. Anyway, good game on either system.

You do know about VPinMAME, right?

It's not exactly the same as the real thing, but it's damn close, and just as nice to hear the music.

RELAX and just have fun.
Remember, it's all about the games.

I haven't seen a Black Knight 2000 machine since the early 90s, so I've been having to use VisualPinball + PinMAME since ~2000/2001 or whenever I discovered that someone had begun remaking the table :(

Agreed to a degree, but I think there remains a sweeter overall package.

Pinball Fantasies for DOS/Amiga ...but it's also on the GBA as Pinball Challenge Deluxe that also includes +4 tables (8 total) from Pinball Dreams.

Awesome tracks, smartly laid out tables, good themes and great physics.

Yeah Pinball Fantasies was awesome, I still have it on a backup cd. My dad would play for hours at that game, especially the stones n bones table. He racked up so much points at that one that the counter reset to 0.

Called Devil Crash MD. Compared to the PCE version, the animations are better, it runs smoother, and the sound is of higher quality. They also added in new bonus stages and graphicals effects which are cool. It's also not as difficult which is nice...some tweaks in the gameplay. On the flipside, the colors look shitty and washed out, there is a status bar that takes a chunk from the right hand of the screen which is annoying, and the playfield seems zoomed in some. Also the sound effects are not as good, and I think I like the instrument choices on the PCE version better.

Aparantly the US version of this is called Dragon's Fury.
