Why is everything on infomercials from europe? And then they have some european guy doing the narration on everything. Except their sidekick is from north america and is grinning like an idiot while this guy explains it to them.

Seriously, or so they'd have you believe. Ronco and the like is probably flagging, and infomercial type sales need something to invigorate them. What better way than to play the "Ooh, it's from EUROPE!" card?
