is there a way to make it automatically download mail ?
like Outlook ?

how do i do it ?
i searched for extensions..
no luck
tried google
no luck
tried their site
no luck..

any idea ?

Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings > Check for new messages at startup

until i installed a advanced preferences extension..

now my settings window looks like your..

These are the only extensions to trust. Are you sure?

Same under Linux. Thunderbird 0.8 here, maybe an old version there?
