Now that they don't have the curse to contend with, what are they? Just a bunch of assholes with the second highest payroll in the league who can only get it done twice in 85 years. They're a poor man's Yankees.

Worst thing to happen to baseball in years. Now the only loveable losers are Cubs and White Sox. And I hate those fans. The best thing would have been if the Cards had come back to win it all. Then they would have had two league records, and everyone would still love and feel sorry for them. Now they're just dicks.

ps. Overpaid sure but it was worth every penny to watch us crush the yankees in one of the most humiliating defeats in sports history.

Couldn't have happened to a more bullshit team. Fun having them go down in flames and to Boston of all teams. Die steinbrenner die. Yankees made me hate baseball because I was in it for the race, but when they make the ws (win or lose) most years in the last decade I gave up. Lil faith now restored.
