All I can say is bittorrent doesn't hide your ip at all, it's widely shown to anyone

and deleting files on a hd doesn't really delete them you know, there used to be a program called shredder, now I don't know about this stuff, but don't think you're safe because you deleted it

I don't know about masking ip, but you can always block their ip, again, there used to be peer guardian but it seems it's not updated anymore, there should be an alternative of some sort
