Maybe it's not proc, but it still could be gpu, mobo, or hd. My guess is hd or software. If the cpu isn't that hot, then the gpu probably isn't, either. You could check and make sure the fan is on on the gpu, or run some utility. Tough to diagnose mobo problems other than replacing it. Hard drives can also cause blue screens in extreme situations, though you'd probably see other signs first. Again, tough to diagnose until it dies unless you replace.
Your first and best solution is to reformat and go from there.
