having come from getting charged in internet crime etc, deleting or formatting the shit off your harddrive won't do shit at all, you'll just have to get a new harddrive, having been in the situation its quite easy to retrieve info off a deleted/formated/smashed harddrive the only way is to get rid of the HD completely and get a new one trust me on this.
