But then I realized it just seems like the people they are inspiring to vote would all tend to vote democrat anyway, it's the MTV crowd, people who are fairly liberal in the first place. But they're not expressing it in that way, instead they're just saying "Go out and vote." If those who vote turn out to be voting democrat then I guess it's all the better for them. But exactly why would that be the case? Only if their audience are made up of democrats.

Also, what kind of republican doesn't vote? Maybe those who don't vote at all but would vote democrat are disillusioned (certainly a lot who I talk to are), and those who don't vote at all but would vote republican are just lazy? What reason do they have not to vote? I don't think many republicans are disillusioned and depressed about the situation, but more angry and would definitely go to the polls to prove their point (again, a lot who I talk to seem that way). Anyway, what discourages them from voting in the first place? What could target them (republicans) and encourage them to go out and vote? Would it be a group of superstars?
