You can read about it here.

BTW, the first Episode III trailer will be shown Nov 5
wherever the Incredibles movie is playing.

When twilight dims the skies above
Recalling thrills of our love
There's one thing I'm certain of
Return...
I will...
to old...
BRAZIL.

SubjectQuick thoughts about the whole Star Wars DVD releases new Reply to this message

I've watched all of them and here are a few of my thoughts.

They look fantastic! The problem is that it seems that's the only place where they did a great job. The audio just isn't right. The revised plot elements don't work (IMHO).

All in all, I'd rather watch the original movies with their visual defects. The pacing was good, the audio worked, and the movies were fun.

I have the original movies in laserdisc format now and am going to convert them to DVD format, in case anyone is interested.

... if the original laserdisc -> DVDs become so popular amongst hard-core fans that they get released as Official DVDs anyway (even if not by LucasArts, but by a 3rd party with permission). As the VHS copies degrade, it will be the only way of getting hold of the un-touched originals.

...if it happens before Lucas's's's's death.

(DK?)

SubjectI actually think the 2004 DVD of Empire is the best version of it new Reply to this message

But yea, i prefer the original version of New Hope (HAN SHOT FIRST DAMN IT!) and the vanilla special edition of Jedi from 97 (no Hayden or Pink sabres).

Good thing i have all 3 versions with the DVD box set, VHS versions of the 97 Special Edition, and the Bootleg DVD transfers of the original laserdisc version's (Thanks Elmo ;) ).

If your a hardcore Star Wars fan though its worth getting the box set just for the extra's disc and the commentry on all 3 movies.
