Find him, duh. Either way, it's not getting done. What, are you worried, sitting up there in the freezing northland?

Yeah but what's their plan? What have they accomplished so far? They can't just scour the earth or anything. What's been going on between the original 9/11 attack and the new tape that they just received?

It's just we heard so much about that Iraq thing, it seems like they have been giving most of the coverage on that, and meanwhile everyone's missing out on what's happening with Osama. So what IS happening? Anyone know?

There've actually been targets pointed out near here for a while now, but I am not too worried (we've got our own gov't to worry about that anyway). I'd just like to know what's being done because there hasn't been that much coverage in general, I'm having a hard time finding any info on the topic. There's a lot of coverage on what HAS happened, but not what's in the works to get justice for it. It's hard to follow exactly what's being done.

I'll take your challenge in the items below.

Him personally, no not yet, but more on that...

The plan is to find people and tactically take them out or capture them when it best suits the need. As far as what's been done AFTER 9/11. Easy. Taliban, the 'group' has had around 80% of their people killed or captured. Afghanistan which they used as their primary base of revenue and operations was taken, and now has an elected president. That's a decent start for 3 years. More will get done too eventually.

Well as I read it they have him squared in to a massive taliban stronghold area oddly enough in the western part of the nation. Massive support, very hunkered in there... they don't want to go after the guy because they fear the group mobilizing and assassinating the new pres and removing the infant democracy. So whatever's in the works it will have to be fairly tactical.

It wasn't actually me that said that, I was just asking for info on what's going on in regards to that.

Weird that all the news coverage is on Iraq. Isn't this more important? Maybe Bush's campaign would have been more successful if they concentrated on the good they were doing there instead of any fuckups they had in Iraq.

That latest video was a republican plant, to scare people from voting for Kerry. The white devil triumphs again.

It's really odd that they'd say people voted for Bush because of values... How do you begin to quantify how values imbue decisions with a more desirable outcome? Would you hire a surgeon to cut open your heart based on values, or based on expertise? The president isn't expected to influence the voter's values, nor carry out a crusade based on those values, so how do values even come into play? Does that also mean the other half of the USA doesn't share Bush's values? The country really is divided. The lack of logic is also astounding.

Weird no. Why? The media likes a show, and tanks, troops, and dead iraqis are more entertaining than sniffing out that moron currently. Once the iraqis get their first elections in, and we start backing out, it'll be more cool to watch Afghanistan again.

Because 9/11 was what did the most damage to the US, and its citizens are still dealing with the effects (many are still afraid). If they felt like they were getting retribution instead of not knowing what's going to happen (if Osama's going to show up in their bedroom at night!)

That's great but entertainment != news

I'm aware of that, but the media is in it for the entertainment value as much as the news, if not more. I mean really, with all the shit that goes on in the world stupid shit gets highlighted as it brings in ratings. Take the OJ shit a few years back... the entire time that went on it was front page news. I'm sure OJ was much more important than hunger in some country, civil war in the bosnia area, on-off again peace talks in the middle east, and so on. But no...that twat was just plastered everywhere.

If you think the media is in it just for the news, you're blind... sorry. :)

I've noticed that the news on channels like FOX and NBC are shitty. But other news doesn't cover USA so much.

I guess if more people watch "news" than the news, then they also don't know wtf is going on. Makes me think that's probably why people are upset over Bush's victory, half the people thought they were doing good by voting for him.

Oh well, leave all the stupid people behind in USA, like sending criminals to Australia I guess. Perhaps over time they will reform! Or more likely, other countries will take advantage of them.

Fox isn't that bad, it's just got a rep because it's the only media outlet controlled by republicans so all the liberal media hates their guts and stirs shit.

If you want to get some 'news' at least on TV here watch fox/cnn 50/50 and take both sides of the story and find some reality in the middle. PMSNBC is a joke, CBS has no credibility, and NBC and ABC are a tossup, more like the sheep. Hell NBC is a shadow bitch to the bigger network station now.
