evil dead is the best of the series in my opinion because the humour of ed2 and aod isn't that funny to me. by army of darkness the horror elements were just gone. this evil dead remake is gonna be silly, i bet, and that's gonna suck a fat one. without a decent director, too? i don't know if bruce can even save this one.

by the same logic, evil dead was a remake of within the woods.. but the difference is each incarnation expanded the story a lot.
