radio one has been known to toss out cunts and fucks, at least late at night. most stations still censor the 'dirtiest' of profanities, at least during the daytime, but it's nowhere near as invasive as it is here. as for record shoppes, clean versions are available some places but for the most part everything is uncensored. a lot of album covers are censored [even those of bands from the US] here, and that generally doesn't happen there, especially if the censorship is just due to nudity. in the UK titties don't cause as much of an uproar as violence, which i see as pretty rational. bloody titties, on the other hand... well, every place has moral crusaders..

We get "Parental Advisory - Explicit Lyrics" stickers on CDs sometimes, but that's pretty much it for the music you buy. Occasionally, a record will be deemed too-evil-to-play-on-radio-one (e.g. Frankie Goes to Hollywood), but more recently, radio versions of songs are just heavily edited (Eminem's Stan, that "Fuck you, I don't want you back" song, "Lick my ass, lick my back, lick my pussy and my crack" by Khia), but you can normally find somewhere to hear them in their entirity. With the internet so readily available nowadays, country-by-country censorship is becoming pointless.
